second coming.
Prophecy in pop
hits, the ink of
life hidden in the
lyrics to love ballads.
Now we need
the tabula
for the ink, a
book of life to begin (and, perhaps, a pen).
A Popcalypse is coming.
2. 3’s and E’s are triangles,
and fire.
Sixes are squares.
We don’t need E’s in Nglish,
no triangles to square
circles. Our language is not
lost. Though clouded,
we yet seek to learn
and teach, to live without the need for
e, where aether swallows ether.
Throughout our art, we speak that
language without sound, without
sense, without the frame of evil.
A Popcalypse is coming.
3. Culture's commodities are we. We are
the product to which the product is
fed, we are cows, pigs. Bred
to feed on what world
needs to succeed in its
strains to keep spinning.
A Popcalypse is coming.
4. There was Light before Sun.
Where is it? We all have
it, most times can't find
it, yet must give it.
The moon grows
brighter,
stronger every day.
We are in the dark; can't see that we can't
see; so focused on
E's, 3's; on the
enemy, technology.
A Popcalypse is coming.
